Amazon River Sunset Canoe/Boat Tour

Locally referred to as the "Amazon River," this cool freshwater stream meanders through reeds and wetlands, offering a peaceful natural escape. Canoeing or joining a small traditional boat tour around sunset turns into a magical experience. You'll drift through bird sounds and calm waters, then witness a breathtaking sky painted in shades of orange and pink.

Kadın Azmak – Akyaka's Crystal Paradise

One of Akyaka's landmarks, Kadın Azmak is renowned for its cold, crystal-clear waters that remain between 8-10°C year-round. The riverside walkways offer a tranquil atmosphere with reed landscapes and ducks gliding on the surface. You can dip your feet in the water, take short boat tours, or relax at riverside cafés.

Kite Beach Akyaka

Kite Beach Akyaka located at the northern end of Akyaka, Kite beach is one of Turkey's most popular kiteboarding spots. Its approximately 3 km long shallow and sandy beach, combined with thermal winds starting in the morning, makes it ideal for both beginners and experienced riders. With local kite schools and equipment rental services, you can enjoy the thrill of dancing with the wind.

Eucalyptus Road

Located between Akçapınar and Akyaka, this flat and peaceful road is lined with tall eucalyptus trees, forming a naturally shaded green corridor. It’s perfect for an early morning bike ride or a quiet stroll. The filtered light through the trees creates a calm and refreshing atmosphere, surrounded by nature.

Sedir Island - Cleaopatra Beach

 

Just a short boat ride from Gökova Bay lies Sedir Island, a stunning natural gem layered with deep historical roots. The island was once home to the ancient city of Kedrai, where visitors can still explore remnants of a Roman theater, agora, and city walls. According to legend, the island’s golden sands were brought from Egypt as a gift for Cleopatra, and this unique sand is found nowhere else in the world. On Sedir Island, mythology, history, and nature blend seamlessly. Today, visitors can stroll through ancient ruins and swim in the clear turquoise waters of the protected Cleopatra Beach.

Distance:  15 km to Çamlı Port — 20 minutes by car, followed by a 20-minute boat ride
